If you're like me, than you're pretty frusterated with the Democratic Party right now. After the party's utter victory in the 2008 election, in which it gained not just a president, but a 60% supermajority in congress, they are unable to pass over the imaginary hurdle that is the Republican party. Regardless of their wooing and flat out begging, the Republican party refuses to provide any input on any matter except an extended and thinly veiled "no". No one has called them out on this in a non apologetic fashion.

Alan Grayson (D) is a Florida incumbent serving Florida's 8th congressional district. He graduated with a Ph.D in Government and Ass Kicking from Harvard. He did his term paper on gerontology, as an attempt to ensure that the only method in which death could coax his soul from his body was on the battlefield, and not from something as dull as old age. He was elected in the Grand Republican Oust-o-cuast of 2008 in which he managed to convince his opponent to apologize for every wrong he'd every committed in life and soon after commit suicide in effort to repent.

He's the kind of democrat that we need right now. He doesn't pussy around what needs to get done, and he isn't afraid of scaring the poor little republicans with FACTS. It's surprising that I have to say this too. It's like the Republican party was a grade school bully to the Democrats for 8 years, and now that the Democrats are grown up and have a clique of hardcore looking pseudo-goth kids to back them up (because they are bros), they remain terrified of the Republicans.

Guys, you have a super majority. Use it. Get shit done.

Fair argument, except basically no legislation from the past 8 years was even remotely bi partisan. We are trying to be Bi-Partisan right now, and look where that is getting us (not far). The democrats should lay in on the line like this:

"Okay, here is what we are doing. You want to help? Sure, great, we value your input. You want to do nothing but slow the process down in an attempt to kill it entirely? Fuck you, go sit in the corner while the big kids get to work undoing the fucking mess you created in the first place. Here's a lolipop."
